Nevada DMV & Notary FAQ | TQ Notary-DMV Services

Question 1

Why would I use TQ Notary-DMV Services instead of going to the DMV?

Accepted Answer

You absolutely can go directly to the DMV — and for many people, that's the right choice. Our clients choose us because they value their **time**, **convenience**, and **peace of mind**.

Question 2

Aren't you just filling out forms?

Accepted Answer

Not quite. Our role goes **far beyond completing paperwork**. We carefully review every transaction to help identify potential issues before it's submitted to the Nevada DMV.

Question 3

Is this a legitimate service?

Accepted Answer

Yes — and that's a fair question. TQ Notary-DMV Services is a **licensed third-party provider** operating in compliance with Nevada DMV regulations.

Question 4

How much do your DMV services cost?

Accepted Answer

Our service fee typically starts at $120–$150 per transaction, plus any applicable Nevada DMV fees. DMV fees vary based on your vehicle type, weight, county of registration, and the type of transaction being completed. Every situation is different, so we recommend calling or texting 702-835-6100 before your consultation for an accurate quote. No hidden fees—ever. We'll explain all costs upfront so you know exactly what to expect before we begin your transaction.

Question 5

Why choose TQ Notary-DMV Services instead of visiting the DMV?

Accepted Answer

We make DMV transactions fast and convenient by handling the paperwork for you. Start with a phone consultation so we can review your needs, then guide you through the process.

Question 6

What DMV services do you offer?

Accepted Answer

We assist with a variety of DMV transactions, including title transfers, vehicle registration, registration renewals, duplicate titles, license plate services, moving permits, VIN inspections, and more. If you're not sure whether we can help with your specific transaction, give us a call or send us a text.

Question 7

How does scheduling work?

Accepted Answer

Start with a phone consultation. Schedule online or call or text us at 702-835-6100. After we review your needs and documents, we will guide you through scheduling any in-person service separately.

Question 8

What documents should I bring?

Accepted Answer

The documents you'll need depend on your transaction. In most cases, you'll need the original vehicle title or ownership documents, a valid government-issued ID, proof of insurance (when required), and any supporting paperwork. If you're unsure what to bring, contact us before your consultation and we'll let you know exactly what you'll need.

Question 9

Can you help with title transfers?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We handle title transfers for private-party sales, family transfers, inherited vehicles, lien releases, and other qualifying ownership changes. We'll review your paperwork to help ensure everything is completed correctly before submitting it to the Nevada DMV.

Question 10

Can you register an out-of-state vehicle?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. We can assist with registering vehicles purchased or previously titled outside of Nevada. We'll explain the required documentation, let you know if a VIN inspection is required, and help make the process as smooth as possible.

Question 11

How long does the process take?

Accepted Answer

Most appointments take just a few minutes once all of your paperwork is ready. After the Nevada DMV completes your transaction, we'll send you a text when your registration, license plates, tags, or other documents are ready for pickup.

Question 12

Will I have to visit the DMV?

Accepted Answer

For most transactions, no. We submit your paperwork directly to the Nevada DMV on your behalf, helping you avoid long waits and appointment delays. If your transaction requires an in-person DMV visit, we'll let you know before you begin.

Question 13

How will I know when my DMV transaction is complete?

Accepted Answer

We'll send you a text message as soon as the Nevada DMV finishes processing your transaction. You'll know exactly when your registration, license plates, tags, or other documents are ready for pickup.
